Best Neighborhoods in Fort Worth, TX

Fort Worth is the fifth-largest city in Texas and the 13th largest city in the United States! Historically, Fort Worth was the center of the cattle industry in Texas and the last stopover on the famous Chisholm Trail. So if you want a taste of true Texas culture, Fort Worth is the place to be.

There are a few Fort Worth neighborhoods where we have clients that just love the area.

Located just south of the downtown area, the TCU area of Westcliff is a great neighborhood. One of the best things about the TCU-Westcliff area is how centrally it is located. It’s just south of the downtown area so it’s very easy to get out and enjoy the restaurants and activities in the Sundance Square area of Fort Worth. We highly recommend visiting the Fort Worth Water Gardens. Sundance Square is also the home of many upscale and casual eateries. If you want a fantastic meal with impeccable service we recommend Grace on Maid Street. It’s a little pricey, but so worth it!

Located just south of Interstate 20 in the southwest corner of Fort Worth is the Wedgewood neighborhood. Housing in these areas starts at around $200k and there are plenty of family-friendly neighborhoods. Like most suburbs, it’s on the fringe of the city, but all the great Fort Worth activities and events are easy to get to using the Chisholm Trail Parkway that runs right into Fort Worth. And, like most suburbs, shopping, restaurants, and activities are just around the corner!

Our last recommendation is Westworth Village. This area is located just west of downtown and the cultural district where you’ll find tree-lined streets and beautiful old bungalows and homes. it’s a very safe part of town and extremely family-friendly. Because it’s near the Fort Worth Cultural District you’ll have easy access to the many Fort Worth museums and activities like the Amon Carter Museum, the Fort Worth Zoo, and the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. You’ll also be close to the downtown area and the Stock Yards. Believe me, when I tell you, you won’t have a chance to get bored!
